Well I wanted to have a background but grew lazy and just left it like this.. I have to work on my backgrounds... they suck major ass..
I like some of the new things I tried, one it the hair....

the hair looks good.. did you use burn and dodge to do that? I like the highlights they're really good. cute outfit and details. Love those details. Cute underskirt, I thought it would be ruffled from teh lineart, but it looks nice the way you did it. Good shading and I really like her one eye, thats sweet with the two tones. great work! :D

Technically, it's "root" and not "roots", but aside from that, this is a scary picture.

roots is a multiple tense of root as in roots of a tree. not as a basis as is harddisk root.

thanks, I worked the hardest on that part... I have found the best way to get it right now. it takes 4 layers :P

you use layers? huh, does it have a special effect? I usually do all my hair in one layer, hold on lemme see if I can find out the hair tutorial I use...Searching... Grr, nope, no name, stupid people not putting credit on their works :P.

I use smudge tools, dodge tools, RGB tools, lumination tools and push tools and to cause a sharper effect I need to apply the effects on it's own layers to prevent effects on lower layers which have a different setup.

I made a tutorial about that in my scraps folder O.o I do it differently now though. I don't use the motion blur anymore :P
